What is PA]

Serum prealbumin (prealbumin, PA) can be used as an indicator of early liver function damage and an indicator of malnutrition.PA is synthesized in the liver with a half-life of 2 days and is involved in the synthesis of T3, T4, vitamins and retinol protein. In the case of malnutrition, it can also show a rapid decline in content. In addition, PA has a short half-life and can be used as an indicator of early liver function damage, which can reflect the function of liver synthesis and secretion of proteins, can be used as an early indicator of liver function damage and can indicate the changes and prognosis of some diseases.

Prealbumin PA Clinical significance

Increased: common in hyperthyroidism, various collagen diseases, nephrosis, etc.

Reduced: seen in acute hepatitis, cirrhosis, malignant tumors, protein absorption deficiency.

The Liding Medical Prealbumin (PA) detection kit uses immunoturbidimetric method, and the linear range of detection is 0-800 mg/L; the linear correlation coefficient between theoretical concentration and measured concentration is r≥ 0.990. high quality complete solution of reagents for the early diagnosis and treatment evaluation of patients with liver disease escort.

Product Performance

1. High accuracy:

Fig. 1 Accuracy deviation of PA test Landao specialty protein within 5%

Good clinical relevance:

Using the self-developed reagent and the manufacturer A reagent comparison methodology, as shown in Figure 2, the two groups of reagents were significantly correlated (r>0.99).

Fig.2 Comparison of PA methodology

Note: Manufacturer A is a manufacturer with good reputation in the market.

3. Good repeatability:

Figure 3 Precision results

Repeated determination of clinical samples at concentrations within the clinical reference range, with a coefficient of variation of CV ≤ 5%.

4. Good stability:

Fig. 4 PA Acceleration Stability

The reagent was accelerated at 37 ℃ for 7 days, during which the clinical samples were measured, and the relative deviation was within 10%.

5. Wide linear range:

5 PA linear range: 0~800 mg/L

6. Hook effect:
