— Nanjing Leading Medical Industry–University–Research Collaboration Ushers in a New Chapter, Jointly Painting a Springtime Landscape of “University–Enterprise Symbiosis”

Beneath Qixia Mountain, the frost‑kissed leaves blaze crimson. On December 26, 2025, Liu Zhengxin, Party Secretary of the School of Pharmacy at Jiangsu University; Dean Wei Yuan; and Vice Deans Tong Shanshan and Shen Song, together with Chen Peng, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, led a delegation of experts from the school on a drive to Nanjing, where they sealed a “mutual commitment” with Nanjing Leading Medical: they unveiled a plaque designating Leading Medical as the “Joint Graduate Training Base of the School of Pharmacy, Jiangsu University,” and appointed Zhang Yujie, General Manager of Leading Medical, as an off‑campus graduate mentor for a four‑year term. Li Na, President of the Nanjing Alumni Association of Jiangsu University, Chen Zhong, President of the Medical and Health Branch, along with more than a dozen alumni, jointly witnessed this momentous occasion. This event marked both the warmest full stop of Leading Medical in 2025 and the most vibrant colon heralding the year 2026.

I. From “Projects” to “Talent”: Elevating Collaboration to a New Level

In the past, collaborations between universities and enterprises often stopped at the stage of “technology matchmaking.” Today, Jiangsu University and Leading Medical have joined forces to seamlessly integrate the entire value chain—from talent development and technological breakthroughs to industrial implementation. Here, students’ research findings take concrete form, and technical challenges find fertile ground, truly enabling the vision of “writing papers on China’s biopharmaceutical production line.”

II. A Constant Flow of Fresh Ideas: Industry–University–Research Collaboration as a Mighty River

Since its inception, Leading Medical has firmly believed that “Differentiation is the most enduring competitive moat.” In just a few years, it has partnered with Hunan University, Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, Southeast University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing Agricultural University, Wuhan Jiangxia Laboratory, and others, establishing a “four-wheel-drive” collaborative model:

• Targeted commissioned R&D—enabling professors to serve as the company’s “smartest minds”

• Joint Development — Pioneering the “Uncharted Territory,” Sharing Risks and Rewards

• Patent/Technology Commercialization — Turning papers on the “bookshelf” into products on the “store shelf”

• Joint submission for national major projects—working together under the “listing and appointment” system, planting the national flag atop the pinnacles of science and technology.

III. Mutual Empowerment, Coexistence and Shared Prosperity

For universities, Leading Medical opens up real-world production environments and data lakes, enabling foundational research from “0 to 1” to be validated and iterated as it scales from “1 to 100.” In turn, universities bring Leading Medical their “brightest minds” and “most promising talent,” ensuring that technological pathways remain perpetually cutting-edge. As Leading Medical’s General Manager Zhang Yujie puts it: “We don’t pursue one‑off deals; instead, we co‑build a ‘laboratory that never graduates.’”

IV. The Best Research Meets the Most Practical Industries

Going forward, Jiangsu University will annually select and send outstanding students to Leading Medical, where they will carry out research projects in a real‑world industrial setting. In turn, Leading Medical will establish a “Translation Fund” to provide rapid commercialization support for papers with strong market potential, and issue early “employment passes” to top graduates. Through this deep integration, the “Jiangsu University–Liding” model will become a benchmark for the close collaboration among industry, academia, and research in the Yangtze River Delta region.

V. Leave the Period for the Future

“May the living waters of this place flow on without ceasing; may the university and enterprises join hands to stride forward together into the future.”

You are responsible for letting your imagination run wild,

Leading Medical is committed to turning imagination into a beacon of human health.

Let the best research meet the most practical industries, and deliver the finest products.
