Major Research Visit | A delegation from the Medical Testing Branch of the China Association for Laboratory Medicine paid a visit to Leading Medical to jointly explore new pathways for innovative industry development.

Spring’s harmony and bright scenery usher in a new chapter, as government and enterprises join forces to set sail on a journey of long-term growth. To earnestly implement the strategic blueprint of Healthy China and to pioneer cutting-edge innovation and industrial advancement in the greater health sector, on May 10, 2026, a delegation from the Medical Testing Branch of the China Association for Inspection and Testing paid a visit to Nanjing Leading Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Leading Medical”) to conduct a focused research mission. Using technology as a bridge and research as a conduit, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on key issues such as scientific and technological innovation, industry–university–research collaboration, and industrial synergy, jointly mapping out a development roadmap, driving industrial upgrading, and writing a new chapter of high-quality growth in the greater health sector.

This research mission was led by Mu Hong, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Medical Testing Branch of the China Association for Quality Inspection and Testing. Joining her were Professor Tong Mingqing, Founding Chair of the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the First Clinical Medical College of Nanjing Medical University; Researcher Tong Jinsong, Vice Chairman of the Laboratory Medicine Branch of the Bethune Spirit Research Association; Li Meng, General Manager of Baoyue Medical (Hefei) Technology Co., Ltd.; as well as other industry leaders and corporate executives. Zhang, General Manager of Leading Medical, provided full‑time accompaniment and hospitality, together making this a collaborative gathering dedicated to driving innovation in the field.

At the outset of the research visit, under the warm guidance of President Zhang, the delegation from the association toured key areas including Leading Medical’s R&D center and production workshops, gaining an up-close view of the company’s entire manufacturing process. They delved into the core drivers of its technological innovation, thoroughly examined the company’s product portfolio, growth trajectory, and groundbreaking achievements, and expressed keen attention and early recognition for the company’s steadfast commitment to and significant breakthroughs in the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) field.

After touring the industrial facilities, both sides moved to the conference room for a focused symposium brimming with substantive insights and lively intellectual exchange. Participants shared their perspectives and built consensus on key topics such as overarching trends in industrial development, directions for technological innovation, and pathways for industry–university–research collaboration. The agenda was tightly structured and well‑organized, with arguments that carried significant weight.

General Manager of Leading Zhang Jade Base A Detailed Explanation of Leading’s Core Strengths General Manager Zhang eloquently outlined Leading Medical’s development journey, core business, technological portfolio, certifications and accolades, as well as its future plans. He highlighted the company’s innovative strategies in the in‑vitro diagnostics sector and shared practical insights on translating research into commercial applications, enabling attendees to gain a comprehensive and in‑depth understanding of Leading Medical’s robust capabilities and growth potential, and to appreciate the vibrant dynamism of innovation-driven development among small and medium‑sized enterprises.

Deputy Director-General Mu Hong interprets the mission of the society. As the Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the branch, Ms. Mu Hong provided a detailed exposition of the Medical Testing Branch of the China Association for Inspection and Testing, outlining its founding mission, functional mandate, industry influence, and key priorities for the near term. Her remarks conveyed the association’s sincere commitment to empowering enterprises through innovation and fostering deep integration among industry, academia, and research, thereby laying a solid foundation for continued collaboration between the two parties.

Researcher Tong Jinsong offers his expertise to empower. Drawing on industry trends and Leading Medical’s core strengths, Researcher Tong Jinsong proposes four targeted strategies: First, he recommends that Leading Medical take the lead in establishing a collaborative innovation center and a national-level engineering center, integrating high-quality industry resources to build robust competitive barriers. Second, by bringing together top industry experts, the company should create a platform for high‑end talent exchange, continuously fueling its innovation and growth with intellectual capital. Third, leveraging the association’s valuable resources, Leading Medical should facilitate applications for various industry awards, thereby showcasing its capabilities and enhancing its influence within the sector. Fourth, the company should strengthen collaboration and synergy with leading enterprises in the field, achieving complementary advantages, pooling strengths for mutual benefit, and jointly driving high‑quality industrial development.

Professor Tong Mingqing’s Message of Encouragement and Hope Professor Tong Mingqing expressed keen interest in the “Digital Intelligence–Driven Health Industry Collaborative Innovation Center” and earnestly encouraged Leading Medical to deepen its focus on niche market segments, intensify efforts in developing new products, and prioritize areas such as prostate‑related diagnostics and drug‑sensitivity testing. He urged the company to pinpoint precise market entry points and address critical gaps in industry development. During a break in the symposium, Professor Tong Mingqing went even further, lavishing high praise on Leading Medical. It has been hailed as a “benchmark for small and medium-sized healthcare enterprises.” ”, and highly commended the enterprise’s outstanding achievements in innovation and standardized operations.
