· In-house synthesized carboxylated microspheres: Small particles PL70 (5%, 70–85 nm), large particles PL220 (10%, 215–235 nm)

· Intended use: For the quantitative in vitro determination of C-reactive protein (full-CRP) levels in human serum.

· Principle of the assay: CRP in the sample reacts with a latex‑particle‑sensitized anti‑CRP antibody solution to form an immune complex. The turbidity change is measured at a wavelength of 570 nm, and the extent of this change is directly proportional to the CRP concentration in the sample.
